Master of Education Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MEd TESOL)
The MEd TESOL programme provides students with advanced knowledge and practical skills for teaching English at various levels. Upon completion of MEd TESOL, graduates will be able to conduct research, publish, and run programmes on current real-world issues relating to language and communication.

Entry Requirements
For admission into the programme, a candidate must meet the following criteria:
- A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the Senate;
Or
- A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields not meeting a CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to at least five (5) years of working experience in related field.

Duration of the Programme
The MEd TESOL is a master’s degree programme by coursework over a minimum duration of 12 months, which is equivalent to 3 semesters of full-time study.
It is also offered as a part-time programme over a duration of 24 months, which is equivalent to 6 semesters of study.
